Criminal Law Cases

Mr. Ramirez has worked both sides of criminal cases during his practice of law.  He has successfully represented many individuals accused of all types of felonies and misdemeanors.  He has also worked as a special prosecutor and has prosecuted individuals accused of different felonies.  This experience in working both sides of these cases is an invaluable asset when working criminal cases.

The accused in every criminal case has the right to have his or her case decided by a jury.  Mr. Ramirez has taken many criminal cases to jury trial and has been very successful.  However, not all cases go to jury.  Most accused persons elect to enter into a plea bargain with the prosecutor.

Generally, these types of cases require a detailed review of the evidence obtained by the State against the accused.  When hired in criminal cases, Mr. Ramirez will review the State’s evidence with the accused, and afterwards the Pros and Cons of the case will be discussed.  Once that has been done, Mr. Ramirez will visit with the prosecutor in the case to discuss the facts of the case as well as the applicable law.  The accused at that point will have all the information he or she needs to make an informed decision about what to do with the case.

Call Mr. Ramirez to discuss the specific facts about your case.  There is no charge for the initial consultation.
